Richard Cornwell Obituary
Born in Camden, NJ, Ricky was the son of the late Herbert Leon Cornwell and Iris Margaret Cornwell.
An avid golfer, Ricky was an active member of the Lakes Golf Group.
In addition to his parents, Ricky is preceded in death by his brothers, Robert and Earl and his sister, Iris.
Survivors include his loving wife, Jean Cornwell, Murrells Inlet, SC; children, Barbara, Kelly and Richard "Ricky" all of Philadelphia; 4 grandchildren; sister, Joan and brother, Herb both of Philadelphia; several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Ricky's life will be held 11:00 AM Thursday January 30, 2025, at Burroughs Funeral Home in Murrells Inlet, SC. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the time of service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Ricky's name to Tidelands Community Hospice, 2591 North Fraser Street, Georgetown, SC 29440 or online at www.tidelandshopsice.org
