Richard N. Coughenour, Jr. of Anderson, SC died on September 17, 2024.
Born on March 3, 1938, he was the only son of the late Richard N. Coughenour and Elizabeth M. Coughenour.
He was a graduate of the University of North Carolina earning a degree in Engineering. Mr. Coughenour was known for his innovative ideas and unwavering determination, which led to numerous accolades and recognition within his industry. His deep-seated intellectual curiosity and unrelenting pursuit for excellence influenced everything he did and set him apart as a true leader.
Mr. Coughenour's intimate relationship with God and church provided the foundation upon which he lived his life each day. However, where he distinguished himself mostly, was as a husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Coughenour's devotion to his family was selfless and paramount. He left a legacy of integrity and an indelible impression on all, that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew him.
