Richard Warren Cox was born July 5, 1951 Sully County, South Dakota to George Linvel Cox and Bertha Murral Schieckoff. He professed a hope in Christ and was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.
Richard enlisted in the United States Navy and served a total of six years.
After the navy he began a life long career as a truck driver. His CB handle was "Wild Man"
He is preceded in death by his beautiful mother, Bertha Hammond, father George Cox and his daughter Lizzie Cieslinski.
Richard leaves to mourn his memory Son; Richie Jenkins of Colorado Springs CO., Daughters; Shannan Hope (Chris) Crawford of Halfax, NC., April (Billy)Manning and Kimberly (Josh) Sapp of Lonoke Brothers; Calvin Cox, Lynn Cox. Sisters; Alvina Cox and Janette Cox. Nine grandchildren, seven great grands and a host of nephews nieces cousins and other relatives and friends.
Richard will be sorely missed by family and friends who dearly loved him.

Praying for the family and kids. I´m Billy McManus oldest daughter Wanda. I´m so sorry I had no idea about Wildman (Richard) passing or I would have been there. He is very loved by all of the McManus family. He will be deeply missed but always remembered. Sending my condolences to his family and friends.
