Mr. Danek taught my daughters at Rich South High School. How very fortunate they were to be taught by a compassionate, caring and often amusing man. He contributed to the success of any student who was fortunate to be in his class. As a parent I truly appreciate that he always remembered something very special about the kids he taught. And he always brought a smile to my heart. And I thank him for that.

Ernie and I have had the pleasure to be in Richard Danek's company during special family events while he and valerie were visiting here in Massachusetts.
One thing for sure during those times it was evident that he and his wife were lovely people and a pleasure to be around. We feel blessed to have been able to read the memories from people who's life Richard touched during his teaching and coaching career. Our sincere codolences go to Valerie and all of the Family. May you rest in peace dear Richard. God Bless.

I had Mr. D for a teacher between 1992-1996 at Rich South. I also worked on the sidelines doing football stats for him. Mr. Danek was a very special high school teacher to many many kids. He was a treasured teacher, coach, mentor and friend and will be missed terribly. I was so very sad to hear of his passing. I'm sending my prayers and heartfelt condolences to his family. Thanks for the memories Mr. Danek. Much love.
