Richard DeFeis Obituary
He leaves behind his wife, Jessie Whiteman, and is survived by his son, Michael DeFeis and his family: wife Courtney Woolfolk DeFeis, and their two children, Benjamin and Julia; and his former wife, Melanie. Rick also leaves behind his siblings: sisters Robin Ralicki and Pamela deFeis, and brother Guy DeFeis.
Born and raised in West Islip, New York, Rick spent much of his youth there before moving to various places, including Michigan, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Maine. For the past several decades, he made his home in mid-coast Florida, where he worked in construction, restaurants, and self-employment.
Rick always appreciated the time he spent with others. His warmth, sense of humor, and enthusiasm for life will be missed by all who knew him.

I am sad for the family to hear of Rick's passing. I wish him peace. There's been a lot of years since we were all kids; when life was simple and uncomplicated. Perhaps he will find a simple, easy resting place. Hugs to Robin, Guy and Pam.
