Survivors: In addition to his wife, Lillian, Richard will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Jason Delp and his companion Elizabeth; Richard Delp, Jr. and his wife Patty and Ronald Lee Delp; brothers, Gene Delp and Bill Delp; sister, Ruth Weaver; grandchildren, Ronald, Jr., Christian, Michelle and her husband Ian, Ryan and his wife Jess and Eric and his wife Jess, as well as, many beloved great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Richard is preceded in death by his brothers, Ralph Delp, Ken Delp and Al Delp and his sister, Emily Lindemuth.
Services: Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

I just learned of his passing. I hadn´t seen he or Mable in years. Nor my friend Richard Jr. I was looking up his phone number and found his obituary.
Richard, "Dick", was like a father to me. I learned a lot especially self sufficiency from him. He showed me to not be afraid to tackle anything. He was a multi talented man. There was nothing he wasn´t afraid to do. I enjoyed working with and helping him on projects and repairs.
He taught me how to fly fish and we´d go out on the lake fly fishing for bass.
I used to spend weeks at a time up at the lake as a boy with Dick and Richard jr.
Such great memories.
God bless you Dick. I´m sorry I never got to say goodbye.

Mr. Delp was tough but gentle. I'll never forget catching my first large mouth bass that was tagged up on Browns Lake. I haven't seen him in many moons but I am sad to read that he had passed away. He was a good dad to his sons and his extended family. I know he loved them all very much and was a great husband to Mrs Delp. May you all find comfort amongst one another during this time of loss and may Mr. Delp live forever in your hearts.
