Mr. Richard Glenn Deuker, age 96, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025, at his home in Loris, SC following an illness. Born on May 1, 1928, in Dover, Ohio, he was the son of the late Glenn Cornelius Deuker and the late Opal King Deuker. Mr. Deuker worked as a truck driver and gas well supervisor until his retirement and was a longtime active member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Longs, SC.
Survivors include his son, Kenneth Deuker; brother Jerry Deuker and wife, Mira as well as many loving grand, great-grand, and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Deuker was predeceased by his wife, Virginia Marie Hensel Deuker; daughter, Connie Young; daughter-in-law, Loretta Deuker; brother, Bud Cornelius Deuker; sister, Bev Glidden, and grandson, Mark Glidden.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Longs, SC. The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service. Mr. Deuker will have committal services at Union Hill Cemetery in Sugarcreek, Ohio at a later date. So sorry to read of your dad's passing. Please know you are in my prayers. He was always a joy to visit with and I know he and my father-in-law are hugging each other and catching up on old times!

Dick was one of my dad's very best friends and was always so sweet, funny and kind. I genuinely loved talking to him. He treated everyone with kindness and courtesy. My sympathies to all of the family on this great loss.
