On Tuesday, November 21, 2023, Richard James DiMaggio (73), of Lauderhill, FL passed away. Richard was born to Ann and Lawrence DiMaggio on June 2, 1950, in the Bronx, NY.
He was a family man, a father, a Poppy, an uncle, a cousin and a friend. He loved to have a good time and lit up when he was around his grandchildren. He was a kind and generous man and will be missed by many.
Richard is survived by his Children, Christy Gadesi (Doug), Ricky DiMaggio and Michelle DiMaggio, his grandchildren Nicholas (15), Abby (14) and Dominic (12), and by his brother Larry DiMaggio (Kathy).
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Kim DiMaggio, his parents Ann and Lawrence DiMaggio as well as his brothers Billy DiMaggio and Bobby DiMaggio.
A Memorial Gathering will be held to honor Richard’s memory at T.M. Ralph Funeral Home located at 7001 NW 4th Street in Plantation, FL on December 2, 2023. The gathering will begin at 11:30AM and conclude at 1:30PM.
