Richard James Dover passed away on December 22nd, 2025, leaving behind family and friends who loved him deeply and a life defined by hard work, love, and quiet strength.
He was a hardworking man in every sense of the word. For most of his life, Richard worked as a mechanic, spending long days fixing, building, and keeping things running, not just machines, but the lives of those around him. He showed his love through action, dedication, and always being there when someone needed him.
When he wasn't working, he found peace in the simple joys of life. He loved fishing, creating things with his hands (often something random but meaningful to him) and unwinding while watching westerns on the television. He never needed much to be content; he found happiness in routine, comfort, and being present.
Richard was an amazing husband, a proud father to three sons and two daughters, and a deeply loved grandfather to two granddaughters who meant the world to him. To them, he was more than a grandfather. He was a constant, a safe place, and a source of unconditional love. The bond they shared with him will live on forever in their hearts.
He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his humble nature, and the quiet way he loved his family so fiercely. Though he may be gone, his presence will always be felt in the lessons he taught, the memories he leaves behind, and the love that will never fade.
He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
