Reverend Richard D. Drake, a devoted man of faith and tireless servant of God, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2025, at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. He was 83 years old.

Born on November 28, 1941, in Port Chester, New York, Richard was the beloved son of the late Robert J. Drake and Mary MacCallum. Raised with strong spiritual values, Reverend Drake dedicated his life to the service of others and the calling of the Lord.

A deeply religious man, Reverend Drake spent over three decades as a missionary in Haiti, where he ministered to countless lives with compassion, grace, and unwavering faith. His selfless work and commitment to spreading the Gospel left a lasting impact on the communities he served and the hearts he touched.

Reverend Drake is preceded in death by his loving wife, Carole Drake and survived by his cherished children: Scott Drake, Kim Landi-Cuevas and her husband Carlos Cuevas, Kelly Anderson and her husband Felix Anderson, and Wade Drake and his wife Mary Lynn Drake, and their children Nunzio Landi, Jr., Amanda Landi, Felix Anderson, Jr., Joshua Landi, Clint Anderson, Jason Anderson, Gabriel Drake, Grace Anderson, Raphael Drake, Dylan Cuevas, and Noah Drake.

He is also survived by his dear sisters, Betty Mae Pugliese and Linda Pugliese.

Reverend Drake will be remembered for his boundless faith, generous heart, and the legacy of love and service he leaves behind.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home. Burial will follow at 1:30 PM at Greenwood Union Cemetery, 215 North Street, Rye, New York 10580.

In honoring Reverend Drake's memory, may we all strive to live with the same compassion, humility, and devotion that defined his remarkable life.
