Mr. Richard John Dubber

Richard John Dubber, 87, of Seneca, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 6:45 am.

Richard was born in Cleveland, Ohio, to Richard J. Dubber and Mildred Dubber (Safranek). Richard was known to many as "Dick". Richard served in the United States Air Force as an Air Policeman. He worked a few different places throughout his life, but his last job before retirement in 2002 was as a Truck Driver for 18 years at Special Service Transportation out of Medina, OH. He won numerous awards including driving 2 million miles without an accident. He was very proud of his awards and rightfully so. Richard was a loving man who many loved to be around. He was a jokester all the way until he closed his eyes for the last time. He never met a stranger and loved to talk with everyone. He had many friends. He loved being out on the water whether it be on Lake Erie when he lived in Ohio or Lake Keowee. He loved dogs and loved his dogs Howie and Bandit.

Richard is survived by his brother Robert (Dottie) Dubber, sister Carol Kleinhenz, daughters Sheryl (Tom) Alberti, and Yvonne (Jason) Clement, four grandchildren,10 great grandchildren, four grand dogs and girlfriend Judy Mumdell.

He was preceded in death by his parents and oldest daughter, Patty Tomkins.

There will be a private service for the family.
