Richard was always a good friend to our family. I remember grandma, Gladys Rhodes, talking about Richard swinging on the piping of her porch when he was little. Just like most of us kids did. It was hard to imagine Richard a little boy. Remembering Richard!!

Seeing Richard's obituary sparked so many memories of doing some pretty wild things when growing up together. He was a very good friend when we were kids together. Oh how, I could write a book. My deepest sorrow for the family he left behind.......................Merle Marie.

Charles & I are so sad to learn of Richard's death. He was a long-time, special friend. The article in the Star shared memories held by so many of us. May God grant you peace and comfort in this time of loss.
