Richard Eugene Chase, 86, born in Detroit, Michigan, to Eugene Chase and Catherine Cornaire, brother to Carol Belding, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on November 14, 2025.
A devoted and loving husband to Rosemarie for 53 years and father to Mark, Manuela, Sherry, Charlotte and Heidi. He was a proud grandfather to ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Richard led a remarkable life filled with dedication and service to his family and country. He served honorably in the United States Army for thirty years, achieving the rank of Command Sergeant Major, and was deeply respected by his fellow service members. He loved physical fitness and would go to the gym three times a week, playing racquetball. He participated in several Trans Mountain Marathons, and loved to go on a walk around his Neighborhood. Rest in Peace Daddy! We Love you!!

Interment: Fort Bliss Cemetery 1:00 pm
