Richard J Fernandez, 56, of Round Rock TX, passed away Friday October 3 surrounded by family.
Richard was born August 9, 1969 in Dallas TX, to Janie and Johnny Fernandez. Richard grew up in San Angelo TX, where fond memories with siblings and cousins are shared. Richard married his high school sweetheart, Nita on December 27,1987. Together they raised four fantastic children, Juanita III, Stephanie, Jenapher and Stone. They were blessed with 8 grandchildren Daphanie, Pherrah, Caspian, Levi, Nyomi, Richard, Gabriel and Gracyella. Richard was also loved by three fur babies - Thanos, Benny and Ollie.
Richard was a hard worker, making many friends along his career journey with Pizza Hut, Red Wing Shoes, O'Reilly Auto Parts, ICU Medical and Enterprise. Richard was an unforgettable character with a heart of gold, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Richard is survived by his mother Janie Fernandez, brothers Johnny (Gracie), David (Rachel), Chris (Grissell), Edward (Samantha), sisters Gracie (Joe) Sentena, Monica (Nate) Rayner.
Funeral service will be held 10am Friday November 7, 2025 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church 3201 Sunrise rd. Round Rock TX, 78665. The family would like to thank the staff at St. David's medical center Round Rock along with Altus hospice for their compassionate care.
