Richard "Kenneth" Fultz, Jr., 81, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 20, 2025.
Born in Gainesville, Texas, on July 19, 1944, to Richard Kenneth Sr. and Lois Stephens Fultz, Ken graduated from Gainesville High School in 1962. On December 20, 1963, he married the love of his life, Marilyn "Sue" Massey. Together, they built a life of deep faith, enduring love, and strong family bonds.
Ken dedicated 34 years of his career to Flextronics (formerly Logic Design Metals), where he worked as a mechanical design engineer from July 1969 until his retirement in September 2003. In retirement, Ken and Sue traveled abroad, cherishing every new place they visited and the memories they made together.
A devoted member of Living Word Baptist Church in Little Elm, Texas, Ken served as a deacon and lived out his faith through humble service and a life of integrity. He led by example, inspiring his family, friends, and colleagues with his work ethic, quiet strength, and unwavering patriotism-always proud to fly the American flag in his yard.
Ken's greatest joy was spending time with his family and at the farm. He is survived by his beloved wife, Sue; daughters Christie Schraufnagel and husband Cary of Sanger, and Kim Sanders and husband Gary of Leonard; grandchildren Dylan Sanders; Nicole, Ryan, and Brenna Schraufnagel; Kaley, Carson, and Cooper Sanders. He is also survived by his sister Carolyn Hamilton and husband Jack, as well as many nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Kenneth Fultz Sr. and Lois Stephens Fultz, and his wife's parents, Floyd Massey and Lucy Hatfield Massey.
Ken Fultz will be remembered for his steadfast faith, his love for his family, his patriotism, and the quiet strength with which he lived his life. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
