Richard Giancola, 61, of River Grove formerly Chicago's North Center neighborhood unexpectedly passed away October 19th 2023. Beloved son of the late Samuel and Sandra Giancola. Stepfather to Jessica ( Jimmy) Smith Laufer. Grandfather AKA Pop Pop to Grace and Kai. Loving brother of Deborah McClanahan and Toni Marie Giancola. Cherished uncle of Samantha Cowan, Bobby and Jospeh McClanahan and Jasmine Grayson. Loving great uncle to, Nico , Jeremy Sarai and Anthony. Longtime scaffling, tradesman, and carpenter. A memorial service will be held November 4th, 2023 at St. Benedict's Catholic Church, 2215 W Irving Park Rd, Chicago, IL 60618. Visitation will be from 1-2 with the Mass at 2 pm.
