Richard Thomas Hagan

Richard Thomas Hagan, 80, of Lusby, MD passed away on April 2, 2025 at his residence.

Born May 6, 1944 in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Austin Daniel Hagan and Louise (Jarboe) Hagan.

Richard graduated from Anacostia High School in 1963. He was a warehouse manager for Ferguson Enterprise for over twenty-five years, retiring in May 2009.

Richard was a kind man who lived a simple life, and (if asked), he'd do anything for you. His hobbies were equally simple: reading, fishing, crabbing, watching old and reality TV shows, and hanging out at the beach. He loved seeing his grandchildren and, most recently, his great-grandchildren. Often, when the weather was nice, he could be found enjoying evening conversations with his neighbors.

Richard is survived by his children, Tim (Laurie) of Lusby, MD, David (Christine) of Wilmington, NC and Jeff (Michelle) of Chesapeake Beach, MD; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Barbara and Elizabeth.

Family will receive friends on Friday, April 11, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service conducted by Deacon Andy Geisz following at 3:00 p.m. at Rausch Funeral Home, 20 American Lane, Lusby, MD.
