Alice Elaine (Atkinson) Hagan, age 77, passed away Monday, November 24th, at Waters Edge Village in Muncie.
She was born on December 19, 1947, in Sullivan, IN, to her parents, George Atkinson and Ada (Pirtle) Atkinson.
She was a former member of Lifeway Baptist Church in Ellettsville, IN.
Elaine last worked at Smithville Telephone Company in Spencer and was a retired former business owner of Kempf Signs in Bloomington, and previously worked for a commercial printing company for many years in Indianapolis.
Elaine enjoyed boating, water skiing, and horseback riding in her earlier years, along with traveling, attending country music shows and festivals with her husband before his passing. She was a big fan of the Indianapolis Colts and loved animals. She often spoke of the dogs and horse she used to have, and in more recent years, enjoyed her two cats, Mable and Patches.
She is survived by her two Step Daughters - Kelley (Joe) Cook of Brantley, AL and April (Tim) Keith of Avon, Grandchildren - Ashton (Tim) Thorpe of Luvern, AL, Caitlin Dozier of Brantley, AL and Toby Cook of Vista, CA, Great-Grandchildren, Peyton, Presley Liam and Penelope, brother Ron Atkinson of Winchester and nieces, Cheryl (Kent) McKissick of Winchester, Trish (Chad) Myers of Winchester and nephew Matt (Bobbi) Atkinson of Germany and 4 great nephews and 8 great nieces.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Ronald C. Hagan, and sister-in-law Becky (Lasley) Atkinson.
Graveside Service for Elaine will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Washington Park North Cemetery, 2702 Kessler Blvd West Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46228.
