Richard Mastin Hall

Richard Mastin "Rick" Hall, age 62, of Spencer, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at the IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington.Born December 26, 1962, in Bloomington, Rick was the son of Gerald and Susan (Babbs) Hall. A proud graduate of Owen Valley High School, Rick built a long and fulfilling career as a pressman for World Arts in Spencer before retiring.Rick was deeply involved in his community and found great friendship and purpose in his membership with the Spencer Masonic Lodge 95, where he served as Past Master in 1992. His friends and family will remember him as a man of good humor, loyalty, and quiet wisdom.A lover of history and the simple joys of life, Rick found peace in fishing, cooking, and spending time near the ocean, especially when he could feel the sand beneath his feet. He was also a devoted member of the Spencer Presbyterian Church.
Rick's legacy lives on through his son, John Hall; his mother, Susan Hall; his sister, Kathy (Kent) Beckman; and his step-sons, Zach Lewis and Patrick Lewis.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Hall, and his beloved wife, Stephanie (Ellett) Hall.
A celebration of Rick's life will be held at a later date, giving family and friends the opportunity to gather and honor his memory.
