Maurice was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama. He attended Murphy High School. He was a member of Metropolitan AME Church. Maurice owned his own automotive shop and loved spending Sundays at Atmore Dragway racing cars. Maurice became ill with the Huntington Disease which leads to his peaceful death.
Maurice leaves to cherish in his memories three daughters: Lakeyta and Jaleesa Witherspoon, Ariel Ingram and three sons:Eric Dennis, Jeremy Witherspoon and Richard IngramJr. Seven beautiful grandchildren: Erione Woods, Lakelsha, Jamarqis, Kimora, Jeremy Jr., Jade and Jermauri Witherspoon. One handsome great grandson: Fabiene Forrest Jr. all of Mobile, Alabama. Three brothers: Curtis, Robert, and Marlon Ingram. One devoted sister: Gail (Noah) Means. A devoted niece and nephew (caregiver): Lakesha Means - Blankenship and David Means. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and friends. One devoted friend: Fern all of Mobile, Alabama.
