Richard graduated from Centerville High School in 1968, laying the groundwork for a successful career that spanned many years at Delco Products. His commitment to excellence and his work ethic were hallmarks of his professional life.
Beyond the workplace, Richard was known for his passion for collecting technical items, an interest that illustrated his inquisitive nature and his appreciation for innovation. He also found joy in riding his motorcycle, embracing the freedom and adventure that came with it.
Richard's personal life was marked by his deep affection for his beloved wife, Myreda (Gorgas) Johnson, with whom he shared 42 memorable years of marriage. His adoration for her was evident in all he did, reflecting a partnership built on love and respect.
He is survived by his sister, Karen Johnson, and numerous extended family members and friends who will remember him fondly. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Harold Johnson and Dorothy P. (Duncan) Johnson, as well as his beloved wife, Myreda.
