Richard Lee "Ricky" Johnson passed away on February 6, 2026, in Flushing, Michigan at the age of 73. Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be arranged at a future date at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI. Arrangements entrusted to Sharp Funeral Homes- Miller Road Chapel.
Ricky graduated from Beecher High School in 1970. He went on to build a long and dedicated career as a supervisor at General Motors and later worked at Flint Auto Recycling. His passion for automobiles extended beyond his work, Ricky truly loved cars and enjoyed sharing that enthusiasm with others.
Ricky was known for his infectious sense of humor and his ability to bring laughter wherever he went. He cherished time spent with many friends, nieces, and nephews; creating memories that will be treasured by all who knew him.
Ricky is survived by his sister Barb (Don) Bastion-Johnson, brother Mark Johnson, and special friend Dawn Hook.
He is preceded in death by his parents Clifford and Martha Johnson; and sisters Judy Jenks and Joyce Ann Johnson.
Ricky's presence will be deeply missed by those whose lives he touched.
