Rich was very close to many childhood friends who, together in their teen years, formed the Highlanders S.A.C., originally from 79th and Wood Streets in the Little Flower neighborhood of Chicago. Rich was a U.S. Army Veteran and worked for many years after leaving the Army in the liquor industry as well as the food business. Rich and Eileen were very involved in St. John Fisher Parish, in the Beverly neighborhood during the years they lived there and were raising Kevin and Karen, including the yearly Fisher Fest Fundraiser. Rich was a Super Fan to all his grandchildren in their sports and activities played throughout grammar school, High School and College.

I remember Rich and Eileen from Little Flower Parish. They were friends of a neighbor of ours down the street and to an older sister. My husband Bob remembers Rich for the " corner". Lots of wonderful memories. RIP Rich- Sending prayers to the family.
