Mr. Richard Dennis Keisler was born in Lexington, South Carolina on November 22, 1951. He was the youngest child of the late Alonza Sr. and Mildred Keisler. Dennis Departed this life on Saturday, November 30, 2024, in Lexington, South Carolina, while at home surrounded by his family and loved ones.
Dennis attended Lexington Rosenwald School and graduated from Lexington High School.
Dennis loved life. He was always busy working in the yard, fishing, hunting and spending time on the lake, boating. He loved partying and being around a lot of people.
Dennis joined St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. Under the leadership of Paul Drummond.
Dennis was a hard worker. He would work many long hours. He worked at Tampa for 20 plus years. After Tampa he went to work at Ambac, where he retired after 30 years.
Dennis married the former Deborah Carlene Green on June 28, 1979. From this union they were blessed to have two sons.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred and Alonzo Sr., his oldest brother, Alonzo (Lonnie) Keisler Jr.
Dennis leaves to cherish the life he lived his wife Deborah Carlene Keisler; Two sons Richard Berlin Keisler of Irmo, SC and Jeremy Keisler of the home; Two God children Barbara -Brooke Summers and David "Trey" Green; Two first cousins, Glendora Keisler and Rosetta Walker; A niece Dr. Christel N. Keisler; Nephew Brian S. Keisler; Three sisters-in-law Cecelia (Silas) Strother, Teresa (Paul Jr.) Green, and Margaret J. Keisle3r; Five brothers-in-law Allen Thompson, Kenneth Scott Michael and Paul Green, Jr, and a host of nieces nephews, other family members and friends.
