Richard Klopp

Richard L. Klopp, 77, of Burgoon, passed away Friday, March 7, 2025, at his home from health complications. He was born June 7, 1947. He is survived by a sister, Shirley (Allan) Brelsford; a brother, James Klopp of Burgoon; a niece, Alison (Jon) Weaver; a great-niece, Joanna; a great nephew, Nathan; and a cat, Suzie.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Warren and Anna Lou Klopp; and a sister-in-law; Sherry Klopp.

He graduated from Lakota High School in 1965 and attended Art Academy in Cincinnati. Richard served in the Air Force for four years. He was a commercial artist at the former Lesher Printers in Fremont his whole career. He loved photography; two weeks ago, he had just finished taking pictures of orchids at Toledo Zoo. His real passion was buying and selling old tools at flea markets, especially antique wooden planers.

Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Friday, March 14, 2025, at Hanneman-Keller Funeral Home, 416 S. Arch St., Fremont, OH 43420. Funeral Service will follow visitation at 11 a.m. officiated by Pastor Mike Holcomb. Burial will be at Smith Cemetery in Jackson Township.

Memorial contribu-tions can be made to Christ Church of Burgoon.
