Richard J. Kozieradzki (affectionately known by his high school friends as "Squirrel"), 74 of Milford, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2025 while surrounded by his loving family. Born on January 6, 1951, in Nottingham, England-a place he held close to his heart-Richard was the cherished son of the late Tomasz and Anna Kozieradzki. He was the beloved husband of 53 years to Diane Kozieradzki, with whom he met in high school and shared a lifetime of love and devotion.

Richard was proud to work as a lithographer for various printing companies for many years prior to his retirement. He was a hard worker and a proud provider to his family.

Richard lived a life filled with simple joys and deep devotion to the people and things he loved most. His first love was soccer. Frequently watching Nottingham forest, the world cup, and teaching his grandchildren how to play. He found peace in fishing, hours of happiness in his extensive record collection, and comfort in watching his favorite tv shows. Throughout his retirement in particular you often found him in the garage listening to his record player or in the house watching shows like mysteries at the museum and ancient aliens to immerse himself in history. He was always incredibly curious about the ancient pyramids. Known for his uncanny luck with scratch tickets he would always make sure his family got their share before taking a small portion for himself trying his luck again, as well as his many visits to Saratoga. A mild-mannered, gentle, and loving man, he carried a dry English humor that always brought a smile to those around him. His favorite place to visit was the family farm in Pennsylvania, a place that connected him to his roots and brought him great joy. Often talking about his memories there fishing in the early morning with his family. Throughout his retirement Richard was incredibly thankful to spend many years with his two daughters and grandchildren. He also found happiness in car rides and the companionship of his beloved dog, Dexter.

In addition to his wife Diane, Richard is survived by his two loving daughters: Nicole Olszewski (Jeffery Olszewski) and Kristin Pikul. Three beloved grandchildren: Alexander Pikul, Ian Olszewski, and Corrine Olszewski. As well as sister-in-law Carol Halpin (the late Frank Halpin), Godson James, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 3 p.m to 5 p.m at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street, Milford. Beginning at 5 p.m the family will begin private services. We kindly ask the public to say their farewells to the family prior to 5 p.m, to allow them their privacy.
