I knew Dick for over 30 years because he and his staff were my trusted auto mechanics. Dick always greeted me with a smile and a big hug. One wonderful memory I have, is when Dick was worried about me driving my old VW pickup that was quite old and not terribly safe. He kept telling me to get a newer truck, when I finally went shopping and drove a truck I was considering buying over to his shop, he went through it to make sure it was in good condition. He was so happy to see me buy it!. It was wonderful to have someone you could really trust. I will miss him.
