Richard K. Kusnierczyk

Richard Kenneth Kusnierczyk, 77, of Syracuse, passed away on January 1st after a courageous battle with numerous cancers. Richard was born in Syracuse to the late Alfreda and Joseph Kusnierczyk. He graduated from Sacred Heart Academy and Oswego State University where he played basketball throughout his academic career. Richard was a history teacher in the Syracuse City School District and later in the West Genesee School District. He then went onto work for the United States Post Office where he retired in 2010. He was an avid reader and SU sports fan. He will be remembered as a kind, gentle soul who lived his life his way.
Richard is survived by his sister, Kathleen Kusnierczyk of Marcellus, NY and partner, Eric Huber of Syracuse, NY.
No services will ne held. The family asks that you pay your respects to Richard by getting a book, reading a book and telling your loved ones that you love them.
