Marcwilliam J. Sollars, born on October 30, 1985, left us on December 29, 2025, but his enduring spirit and vibrant personality will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Marc was an insurance adjuster for Hanover Insurance, where he found great joy and fulfillment in his work, eagerly anticipating a promotion as he sought to make this his lifelong career.
Marc was a devoted father to his daughter Myra 11 and son Sebastian 9, who were undoubtedly among his proudest achievements. He cherished every moment spent with them, whether playing soccer, teaching them music, or engaging in outdoor games. Marc’s affection for his family was profound; he loved to spend time with them and created countless cherished memories. Long talks with Myra and community events with the kids exemplified his commitment to being present in their lives.
Born to Mark Sollars and Mary Sullivan, Marc’s family also included his step-father, Randy Foricone, and his beloved grandparents, Bob and Mary Dillabough. Former wife Brandi Sollars. He shared a unique bond with his many aunts, uncles, and cousins, who will carry forward his legacy of kindness and love. Enjoyed spending time with his family at Rehoboth Beach.
Known for his outgoing personality, Marc touched the lives of everyone he encountered. His artistic talents shone brightly, leaving a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to witness his creativity. His warmth,charm, kindness and compassion for others left a deep mark on the community and all who knew him. He had the patience of a saint.
Marc was preceded in death by his grandmother, Patricia Sullivan.
His memory will be honored at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, located at 705 N Main St, Syracuse, NY 13212, with a visitation on January 8, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a funeral service starting at 7:00 PM.
