Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium - Hanover StreetRichard M. Larson, 61, passed away after an illness lasting many months. He was predeceased by his parents Allan T. and Mary A. (Kazanowski) Larson.
Rick was raised in Bedford, NH and was a lifelong resident of the town. He graduated from West High School in 1981. Rick also attended Belknap Community College.
Rick spent 12 years working for Goulet Supply as a sales representative. He was a business owner and licensed automobile dealer for the next 20 years. For the last seven years Rick was the vehicle processor for the nonprofit Good News Garage. He was committed to providing quality cars for people in need.
Rick enjoyed his passion for boating on Lake Winnipesaukee and skiing during the winter months. He also spent as much time as possible at his cottage in Mystic, Connecticut with his life partner Julie Gibbons.
Rick, along with Julie, was devoted to providing positive life experiences for his grand nieces and nephews.
Rick's surviving relatives include his two brothers: Michael, Stephen and his wife Tricia, and his sister Kathie (Larson) Vieira. He had three nieces and three nephews. Rick especially enjoyed his five grand nieces and four grand nephews. He also had one great grand niece.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH on Friday, October 3, from 6:00PM-8:00PM. A Memorial Service will occur the following day, October 4, at 10AM at Holy Trinity Cathedral, 166 Pearl Street, Manchester, NH. Burial to follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, 765 Brown Avenue, Manchester, NH.
