Richard F. Laskowski
Age 71, of New Lenox, IL passed away, Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Silver Cross Hospital, New Lenox, IL. Rich was born in Chicago, IL to the late Richard and Pearl (nee Wentzel) Laskowski.
Beloved husband of Paula (nee Flaherty) Laskowski; loving father of Richard A. (Amy) Laskowski, Kevin (Jess Rocco) Laskowski, and Leah (Steven) Banas; cherished grandfather of Logan and Dylan Laskowski; dear brother of Linda (late Ray) Kast, Phillip Laskowski, the late Michael Laskowski, Teresa (Tom) Arianoutsos, Tim (Michelle) Laskowski, and Jim (Dawn) Laskowski; loved uncle, cousin, and friend of many.
Rich was a proud U.S. Marine Corps Veteran. He was a retired elevator mechanic and a member of IEUC Local 2. Rich enjoyed golf and spending time with family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Rich's name to St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital or School of Rock, Music School would be appreciated.
The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox, IL, on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 10:00 am until time of service at 12:00 pm. Interment will be private.
