We mourn the loss of Richard Earl LaValla, 60 of Trenton, Georgia. He passed away peacefully Friday March 29, 2024 at his home with his family by his side. He was born in Ilion, May 7, 1963 the son the late Earl and Jenny Sgroi LaValla. Richard was a 1982 graduate of Frankfort Schuyler high school. He joined the United States Navy and served from 9/14/82 to 12/15/87. Rich also was a big part of Dade County 4-H. He taught poultry judging and DPA, along with many other events. He even took them to state out in Oklahoma. Summer camp was the highlight of his time with his kids at Rock Eagle. Along with his wife, he was the owner and operator of Noah's Little Ark.
Richard is survived by his beloved wife Cynthia LaValla, of Trenton, Ga., his brother Joseph and sister in-law Linda of Frankfort: Brother-in-law John Pedone of Frankfort and two sisters-in-law, Mary Ann LaValla of Frankfort and Angela Summers of Trenton, Ga., A special niece Emily Summers (whom he thought as a daughter) as well as many other nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by many of his special friends. Besides his parents Richard is preceded in death by his brothers Anthony and Robert and his sister Mary Pedone of Frankfort, NY. Family and friends are welcome to join us at Riches Memorial Service. It will be held on April 20, 2024, at 1 pm at Grace Community Church,4355 GA -136 Trenton, GA 30752.
