Richard Longino Sr. (Big Rick, Uncle Rick, Ricky) was born April 28, 1953, in Fort Worth, TX to Calvin Ray Longino of Hamilton County Texas and Barbara Guthrie Longino of western Tarrant County.

Rick grew up in the community of White Settlement with his brother and sister Charles "Chuck" and Jeanne "Luann".

Rick attended public school in the community and was Baptised at the First Baptist Church in Whitesettlement at a young age. Rick played little league baseball and later played drums in the Brewer Bear marching band.

Shortly after high school Rick met Deborah Schnieder and they soon began a family having one son in the summer of 1973.
Rick's son was named after him and that began many years of the two being referred to as Big Rick and Little Ricky.

Big Rick worked on the railroad in Pecos TX in his early adult life. He spent some years working for Tandy Corperation, private security, and eventually with Chief Auto Parts.

The experience and knowledge gained at Chief Auto Parts led to employment with General Dynamics in West Fort Worth producing the F 16. Rick spent 27 years working at General Dynamics which eventually became Lockheed Martin. Rick always took pride in his role supporting the production of the finest fighter aircraft globally. Rick's mother Barbara retired from the same airplane factory, there next to their hometown.

Rick was able to purchase a home in West Fort Worth in the early 90's around the time his son Ricky was serving in the US Navy. Rick was able to pay his home off about the same time he had to retire, earlier than expected, from Lockheed due to health concerns.

Rick Sr. spent over a decade of his life residing in memory care after he was able to retire. His son Rick Jr. visited him often and arranged that he live near the fire station where Rick Jr. worked.

Rick Longino Sr. always maintained his faith in God and believed until his final days he would end up in heaven.
He passed away in his sleep on Dec. 3, 2025.

Rick is survived by his son, Rick Longino Jr., His Brother Charles "Chuck" Longino and wife Ginny.

His Nephew Nicholas Cummings and family, and Niece Erica Martinez and family.
