1949 - 2021

Lynn - Richard C. Losano, age 72, of Lynn, died unexpectedly on Friday, July 23, 2021. He was the loving husband of Janet (Alexander) Losano, with whom he shared 50 years of marriage. Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late Vincent and Bernice (Goguen) Losano. He was a lifelong resident of Lynn and a graduate of Lynn English High School, class of 1966.

Rick retired from Hansen Engineering in Danvers where he worked as a machinist for 43 years. He loved music from all genres and with his unparalleled memory could answer any music trivia question. He was a car enthusiast, had a knack for fixing things, and loved sports, especially the New England Patriots. Rick enjoyed a fine cigar, working around the yard, and watching the birds. The moments he cherished most were those spent laughing with his family and friends.

In addition to his wife, he leaves behind his daughter Jeanine (Losano) Pezzulo, her husband Andrew, and his grandson Lucas, of Salem. As "President of the Outlaws", he was the brother-in-law of Rick Alexander and his wife Nancy, Claire Gately and her late husband Ron, Brian Alexander and his wife Elayne, Scott Alexander, and Patrick Alexander and his wife Christine, as well as the uncle of many nieces and nephews. He is survived by his aunt, Theresa Hughes. "Big Zig" also leaves many friends who were family to him.

Service Information: His funeral will be held on Saturday at 10AM from the SOLIMINE FUNERAL HOME, 426 Broadway (Rt 129), Lynn, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11AM in Holy Family Church, Lynn. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Lynn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours are Friday from 4-7PM.
