Richard E. Luttrell, 90, of West Point, passed away on Monday, September 15, 2025, at his home. He was born July 24, 1935, in Hammond, IN, to the late Josiah and Marie (Freyman) Luttrell.

Richard graduated from Oxford High School in 1953 and served in the Army from 1958 to 1960.

On April 14, 1962, he married Judeana Harris in Lafayette, and she survives.

Her began working as a journeyman butcher for Eisner grocery stores, where he met his wife Judy. He later transitioned into supervision at Anheuser-Busch, then was production management at Lafayette Pharmacal. Richard's final position was at Grauel Enterprises as Vice President of Operations until he retired. While employed at Grauel Enterprises, Richard and Judy owned and operated Luttrell's Farmboy Market in West Point.

He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, and Evening Optimist. Richard spent many summers in Minesota fishing with his family and friends. He avidly followed all Purdue sports.

Surviving along with his wife are his children: Karla J. (Randy) Ross of West Point, William L. (Georgina) Luttrell of Fountain Inn, SC, M. Anthony (Nicki) Luttrell of Portland, OR, Teresa M. Luttrell, Rick L. Luttrell both of West Point, Michael (Tacey) Harris of Dayton, IN; grandchildren: Isaac Cheesman (Amy), Kayla Cheesman Warren (Noah), Nicole Hollensteiner, Travis Radford (Brittany), Paige Luttrell, Harrison Luttrell, Derek Arnold (Diana), Katie Arnold, Travis Ross, and George Ross (Amy); great-grandchildren: Ashlyn, Kaylyn, and Madalyn Cheeman, Berkley and Daxton Warren, Payton Hollensteiner, James and Carter Luttrell, Talan, Kyson and Balin Wortley, Gunner and Landon Radford, Ava and Aria Arnold.

Richard was preceded in death by his daughter Lorie A. Radford; brothers: Robert, Donald, Harry, Raymond, and Gerald Luttrell; and sisters: Joanne Waddle and Juanita Beamon.

Visitation will be from 1:30 pm until the time of the service at 3:30 pm on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Interment will be at St. Mary Cemetery in Lafayette, IN.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to West Point Volunteer Fire Department or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Richard's memory. You may leave condolences and memories at www.soller-baker.com
