I am so sorry for your loss I just found out about Rick’s passing. Great man. Kit loved talking with him especially at Halloween when he came for candy apples. The Highmeadow families were exceptional. My prayers are with you and Erica.

I have had the privilege to have known Rick since our first day at the State Police Academy in 1974 and were assigned as roommates. We were then assigned to Troop K together. Rick honored us by being in our wedding party. We shared many interesting times during our State Police careers and we were promoted to the rank of Captain on the same day. Rick always had the gift of gab and was always able to defuse tense situations. We spent many days on the golf course including trips to Myrtle...
