Richard Allen Madsen Sr.

We are sad to announce the passing of Richard Allen Madsen Sr. of Barling, AR on Monday February 12, 2024 at his home. He was 83 years old. Richard was born to Arthur Madsen & Grace Billings on July 31, 1940 in Santa Barbara, CA. He later moved to Oklahoma where he retired as an OTR truck driver. He eventually moved to Arkansas where he spent the remainder of his life. Richard enjoyed sports, gardening, bbq's and spending time with his family. He was survived by his wife Trenna Madsen, 8 of 9 children Doretta Madsen, Jeannie Madsen, Michelle Vosahlo, Greg & wife April Beddow, Danny & wife Trina Beddow, Richard Madsen Jr., Heather & husband Cody Kamrud, Amber & husband Johnnie Love, he had 19 grandkids, 29 great grandkids and 7 great great grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Bill Madsen, sister Jeannie Baird, and son, Mark Beddow. Richard was loved dearly and he will truly be missed by many.
Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Friday, February 23, 2024 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel.
