- Jacque Wollard Madsen
December 7, 1950 – February 14, 2026 of Wallsburg, Utah
Jacque Wollard Madsen, 75, passed away peacefully on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2026, at home, surrounded by family. Reuniting with her husband Robert Madsen, who passed in 2019 and was her guiding light, the absolute love of her life, and half of the devoted duo everyone knew as "Rob n Jac." Their love was remarkable. It was unquestionable, selfless, and always there, through everything.
Born December 7, 1950 in
Tucson, Arizona, to Jennie Caroline Caldwell and Jack A. Wollard, Jacque grew up in Utah and graduated from Kearns High School (Class of '69). Her life story took a romantic turn one night at a drive-in when Rob jumped into her car and announced, "You wanna love me, because I'm gonna love you." She did, he did, and their adventure began. They married August 30, 1969, in Elko, Nevada, conceived their son Robbie that summer, and welcomed their daughter Sharlynn in 1971.
They raised their family in West Jordan before moving to Wallsburg in 1988, where Jacque became the undisputed queen of gatherings. She retired from working for many years as an accountant and head of tech support at Jordan School District, channeling her organizational wizardry into both work and home.
Jacque planned and executed epic events-big camping trips with big griddles and big Dutch ovens, hunting outings, family reunions, birthdays, and holidays. Somehow, she always paid extra attention to the kids and there was always enough: food, gifts, prizes, and space for that unexpected guest who showed up. She loved animals deeply, creating a lively home for aquariums full of fish, thriving houseplants, cats and dogs, chickens, rabbits, pigs, cows, horses, and even deer. Hundreds of pets over the years, each one receiving her big-hearted care.
While staying with family in Las Vegas, she discovered a new passion: hockey. She became a die-hard Vegas Golden Knights fan, cheering them on with enthusiasm and developing a playful crush on player Mitch Marner.
Her greatest joys were her family: son Robbie Madsen (and his wife Karyn), daughter Sharlynn Pantos. Her six adored grandchildren-grandsons Jesse, Alex, Cameron, and Dillon Pantos (her "second greatest source of happiness"), and granddaughters Haileigh and Tristin (Spencer). She is also survived by her four sisters: Sandy, Janine, Karla, and Sharon.
With her warm smile, quiet strength, and endless capacity to make people (and animals) feel included, Jacque lived a life full of love and laughter. In her later years, even as things narrowed, her tender spirit endured. Now at peace, she's back in the arms of her Rob, where their remarkable love story continues.
