Richard M. Mason

Richard M. “Dickie” Mason, 60 of Owensboro passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2011. He was born on August 8, 1950 in Owensboro, Kentucky to Richard H. Mason and the late Marie McBride Mason. He owned and operated McBride-Mason Printing Company. He was a lifelong printer. He was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, University of Kentucky Basketball, traveling and trying to collect unique rocks from all 50 states. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Marvin and Mabel Mason and William and Mame McBride He is survived by his father and stepmother, Richard H, Mason and Diane Mason, his wife, Denise Reardon Mason of 24 years. His stepchildren, Josh Wedding, New York Nick Wedding, Owensboro, KY Heather (James) Patton, Owensboro, KY 1 step grandchild, a sister, Sherry Mason Orozco, New Kingstown, RI, a stepbrother, Mark Quinn, Owensboro, KY, his best friend and cousin, David Oberst and friends Charlie & Kaye Hall, Mary Harrington and Doug Howard. Several Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. Visitation at Haley-McGinnis & Owensboro Funeral Home from 3:00 to 7:00pm. Friday. Prayers will be at 6:30 pm Friday. An inurnment will take place at 9:30 Saturday, May 28, 2011 in Resurrection Cemetery. Father Brandon Williams will officiate.
