It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard McMahon, Age 57, of Conroe, Texas after a courageous battle with cancer. Known affectionately as Richie, Dad, or Pop, his life was defined by his deep love for family and friends, always putting the needs of others before himself. He had a welcoming smile and joyous attitude.
Rich graduated from Evergreen Park High School in Illinois. He worked as a Fedex truck driver for 30 years. He was also an ordained minister with a deep faith and love for our Lord.
Rich is survived by his loving wife Cindy, married almost 35 years, son Sean (Raven), grandchildren Hutson and Scarlett, as well as brothers Ed (Amy), Tom (Lynda), Joe and sisters Kathy, Terry and Camille (Dan), along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Rich was preceded in death by his two babies Deric and Alyssa, parents William and Charlene, sister Mary and brothers Bill, Chris and Pat.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 4t at Grand Central Church, 1115 Houston Street, Conroe, Texas, followed by a private interment.
