Obituary of Richard Molina
August 19, 2024
In Memory of Richard (Unkie) Molina,
On August 18th of 2024, Richard at the age of 68 passed peacefully from us while resting in his favorite place.
Survived by many who loved him, most notably, his son, Zackary Peterson, the light in his life, Janine Peterson, His brother through everything, Eddie Peterson, Sister, Debbie Peterson, and many more.
Living a long life full of service, aside from his daily work for Nederlander theaters, Richard served our country in the Marine Corps.
Throughout his many years of life in New York City he contributed to the Boy Scouts of America where he helped many scouts become Eagle rank, just as he had done so many years before. He was recently honored into the Martial Arts Hall of Fame. More than any awards, his unwavering support of his home and his family has always been his proudest accomplishment. From everyone who loved him, in the words of his niece, "fly high Unkie" we all know you will be watching over us.
Service will be held Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Crestwood Funeral Home 445 W. 43rd St. New York NY 4pm to 8pm.
Funeral mass and interment times to be announced at a later date.
We hope you will help us remember and celebrate the life of Richard as his family and friends.
