Richard Lawrence Moody, 74, of Fargo passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at his residence after a sudden illness. He was born in Homerville to the late Julis Doc Moody and Bernice Carver Tipton and lived in Fargo most of his life. Mr. Moody was a Heavy Equipment Operator and loved fishing, hunting, and the outdoors.
Along with is parents he was preceded in death by three sisters, Glenda Barnard, Eulene Padgett, and Martha Ann Kelly.
Survivors include one niece, Ginger (Gig) Johns of Lake Park, GA; extended family and a host of friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 12 noon at Fargo Church of God with Rev. Michael Taylor officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11 am until 12 pm, Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Fargo Church of God.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
