In high school, I worked for Dick Morrison when he was the manager of the automotive department at K-Mart in Statesville. He was a really cool guy. I remember that he used to tear around town in his mustard color MG convertible. One afternoon, he threw me the keys and let me drive it. I can still hear him saying to me "Hello wildman" when I'd show up for work and "Handle it" as he was leaving for the day. I was saddened to hear of his passing. I am sure that he will be very much missed by all who ever had the pleasure of knowing him.
