Richard Morrison Obituary
He met his wife, Georganna, in college and graduated from Depauw University with a degree in Economics. Upon graduation, he served as a pilot in the US Air Force. In 1963, he left the Air Force as a Captain, he and his wife went to Columbus, IN where he ran a funeral home. Next he moved his family to the Chicago area and worked as a stock and commodities trader until he retired. Upon retirement he and his wife spent several years in Florida before finally settling in the Dallas-Ft Worth area. He lived out his faith and belief in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour every day.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Georganna. He is survived by his children, Michaela Parrillo, Scott Morrison, Molly Page, and Marianne Meehan; grandchildren Samantha Parrillo, Bradley Morrison, Aryn Hueston, Shane Morrison, Collin Butts, Michael Page, Rachel Page, Jackson Page, Danny Meehan, and Will Meehan; and great grandchildren Landon Morrison, Peyton Morrison, Ford Morrison, Luella Hueston, Saylor Hueston, Lottie Hueston, and Ryder Hueston.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service to be held Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 3:00PM at the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) 201 S. Main St., Paris, IL. Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
