I knew him as a fellow resident at Hoosier Village. He was such a kind man---always called me by name, always a friendly greeting whenever we met. He will be missed. My prayers are with his family at this time. Pat Bowyer

My former Father-in-Law, who always dealt fairly with me and treated me with respect. Not many of his caliber today. I note that he was also a Sagamore of the Wabash.

Jan, you & your family are in my prayers as to the loss of your father. I was privileged to meet him a few years ago at birthday celebration. What a big & wonderful family that really loved Mr. Muir. May the many memories help you thru the upcoming days & weeks. Carolyn Mitchell

Dick and Helen were good friends over the years. We recall how they enjoyed the Grand Hotel at Mackinac Island, and visits to Frankenmuth, MI. They were always pleasant and cheerful. We had great visits with them. Gordon and Marian Husk

DEAR CHILDREN, I SO ENJOYED KNOWING YOUR FATHER. He and his friend Donald were two of the first people I met at Hoosier Village. I took him to Donald' s funeral. Especially enjoyed his well-written autobiography--he was a very wonderful person--certainly an inspiration to all who knew him. What a wonderful legacy and your mother have given you. With great respect and sadness, Anita L. Robertson. Woodside Hoosier Village
