Richard Nicholas Napoleon, 78, of Bordentown, NJ, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025 at the Serenity Hospice Unit at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton surrounded by his loving family. Born in Trenton, NJ, Richard was a lifelong area resident. He attended Trenton Junior College from 1964 to 1967 and received his Bachelor degree from NJIT where he attended from 1972 to 1974.
Richard retired as Principal Engineer with the NJ Department of Corrections after 31 years of dedicated employment.
Richard is the son of the late Nicholas R. and Charlotte (Morgante) Napoleon; beloved husband of the late Doreen Josephine (DiStefano) Napoleon; and brother of the late Nicholas Robert Napoleon.
Richard is survived by his sister, Charlene Napoleon; beloved nieces and nephews, David A. Carter, Devon A. Carter, David DiStefano III and wife Sheila, Danielle and husband John Termun, Deana Napoleon-Walls and husband Tom Walls; and he loved his grand nieces and grand nephews, Jonathan, Benjamin, Daniel, Grace, Brian, and Abby.
Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, April 5, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619.
