Richard Allen "Dickie" Oiler, 66, of Massillon, passed away after a long, hard-fought battle with multiple sclerosis on January 23, 2025. He was born in Cambridge, OH on October 25, 1958 to the late Richard B. Oiler and Mary L. {Hartley} Oiler Amos.

In addition to his parents, Dickie was preceded in death by his step-father Dale Amos and beloved dog Kujo.

Dickie is survived by his sisters, LuAnn (Raymond) Crescenze and Pamela (Jay) Carnahan; his loving daughters, Neena (Marcus) Woods and Nicci (Cody) Mathews; 3 grandchildren; nephews, Kevin, Jamie, Scott and Michael and their families and special friend, Tommy (Rhonda) Williams.

Dickie worked for Nickle's Bakery as a lead maintenance mechanic, and prided himself on the thousands of appliance repairs he was able to salvage during his career. In his free time, he loved to be out on his Harley, surrounded by his buddies.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, February 7th from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Dickie will be privately laid to rest with his parents at Rose Hill Cemetery, Massillon. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dickie's memory are suggested to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
