Our dear Husband, Father, Great Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and friend left this earth on January 20, 2025 to reunite with his spouse, and heavenly family. Born on May 30, 1934 to Harvey Glen Orme and Hazel Della Workman. Married Virginia LaRae Gager on October 15, 1953 in the Salt Lake LDS temple. Dad loved his family and was always willing to help others in need. He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where he served as a Bishop. Home Teacher, served a stake mission with his spouse, and had many different callings in scouting. He earned the Silver Beaver in scouting . And for many years conducted the scout honor guard for the Days of 47 youth parade by displaying a large American flag on a frame that he built for the flag. Dad loved woodworking. He was employed at Kennecott Copper until his retirement. Preceded in death by his spouse, parents,and brother (Terry). Survived by sons Rick (Cindy) and Tim, daughters Vickie Hughes (Joe) and Penny Helm ( Phil), 10 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, and sister in law Barbara. A viewing will be held on Friday January 31, 2025 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Harvest Park Ward building 3671 Oldham St (4200 west). Funeral Services will be held on February 1, 2025 at 1:00 pm with a viewing from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm Also at the Harvest Park Ward Building. Interment will follow at Valley View Memorial Park. Funeral directors are Independent Funeral service
