On July 12, 2022, Richard Sutton Pepersack, passed away in Towson, MD after a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of Michelle H. Pepersack (nee Heard); devoted son of Harriet Sutton Pepersack and the late Richard J. Pepersack; loving brother of Kimberly P. Weller (Jeffrey) and Lisa A.P. Miller (Jonathan). Mr. Pepersack is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A memorial service in celebration of Mr. Pepersack's life will be held in August.

Richard "Rick" Sutton Pepersack, died peacefully on July 12, 2022, in Towson MD after a lengthy illness, with his dear wife and loving mother by his side. He was born in Towson, MD on November 6, 1970, and was raised there, attending Towson High School. From a very young age, Rick loved anything related to science, finally devoting his career as a chemical engineer to work in process control and optimization for several manufacturing companies.
Rick received his Bachelors of Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of MD, College Park, where he was a member of Alpha Chi Sigma chemistry fraternity, and also where he met his future wife, Michelle. His first job moved them both to Bastrop, LA where he worked for International Paper and received a secondary degree in Pulp & Paper Science & Technology from the University of Northeastern Lousiana. He continued his work as a chemical processing engineer for 26 years at companies including Hercules near St. Simons Island, GA and Printpack in Williamsburg, VA, where he acquired several patents surrounding improved puncturability in the print packaging industry.
Rick enjoyed his life and had a variety of interests including cooking where he especially enjoyed testing recipes with his beloved sous vide. He also enjoyed gardening, trying his hand at planting tomatoes and corn, as well as propagating his love of purple violets, replanting the smaller leaves into pots and sharing them with friends and company employees. His love of alternative music from the 90's and 2000's was profound and he enjoyed sharing his vast knowledge of it with his friends and family.
Rick is survived by his devoted wife Michelle (nee Heard), his beloved parents Harriet Sutton Pepersack and the late Richard Joseph Pepersack, his sisters, Kimberly P. Weller (Jeffrey) of St. Michael's, MD and Lisa A. P. Miller (Jonathan) of Westfield, NJ, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A celebration of Rick's life will be held in a prayer service in August at Mitchell-Wiedefeld Funeral Home, 6500 York Road, Baltimore MD 21212, date and details to come.
