Richard "Rick" Perlson

Burlington - Richard "Rick" Jeffrey Perlson, 66, passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Alamance Healthcare. He was born on March 26, 1955 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Philip and Irma Zucker Perlson.

Rick served in the US Army and then went to work for the state of North Carolina working directly for Carolina Copy. He and his family moved to Maryland when he was a child and then he moved to North Carolina in 1994. Rick was a huge Washington Redskins fan and loved to work on and admire classic cars. He also enjoyed watching The Three Stooges, and playing with his dogs, but most of all, he loved to spend time with his family and being a Poppa to his grandchildren.

Survivors include his daughters; Jessica (Shane) Parrish, Rebecca Perlson (Joseph Stenske) and Katie Burnette, grandchildren; Kayla Michelle, Joshua Philip, Dixie Rose, Justice Bri, Ruby Lynn, Amelia Grace and Negan Danger, Siblings; Barbara Sforza and David Perlson, nieces; Kristi and Sammy and nephew; Johnny. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials may be made to the Revival Recovery Foundation; PO Box 2061 Burlington, NC 27216.

Rick Perlson, was the son of a man who I worked for in the seventies. Rick and I met soon before his wedding, and soon thereafter I was invited to. I met a guy who later became my husband. Rick, be in peace and will always think of you with warmest thoughts, Nina Sanderoff
